Clinical Engagement
The NIKTT has consistently engaged with clinical professionals already involved in the Taskforce and others interested in transplantation equity. We have presented abstracts and talks at conferences throughout the last three years, as well as hosting informational booths.

Policy Engagement
The NIKTT has routinely engaged with political parties where appropriate, and the NIKTT's Kelli Owen attended the 2022 Straight Talk Summit in Canberra.

Provided consultation feedback to the National Strategy for Organ Donation, Transplantation, and Retrieval

Engaged in planning workshops with the ODTR team to provide guidance on areas of the strategy relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kidney transplantation

Invited Health and Indigenous Affairs Ministers to engage with our work in supporting the Gathering's Position Statement and the recommendations and actions contained therein
